Why did we create a community?
We have been traders for over 20 years but never forgot how difficult it was starting out and how scary that first trade was. It was a very lonely time. We wished 20 years ago we had someone we could talk to, we wished we had a community of like minded traders we could get support from and it would have been great to have a support network of other traders rather than friends and family who didn’t understand and kept encouraging us to give up and get a 9-5 job.
Technology was very different 20 years ago but thanks to social media, connecting traders together couldn’t be easier. It just needed someone to create the venue and bring all Forex traders together in one trading community.

What is a trading Community?
Trading communities are designed to create an environment where likeminded traders can interact with each other freely, safely and respectfully. There are many available communities, some are specific to a certain topic related to trading and many are general. Providers have even gone to the extent of creating forums and communities in multiple languages so you can chat with other people of similar interests as you in your native language.
Every community will have its moderator or an administrator who will monitor the communication and ensure the interaction between the community members remains respectful.
Why join a Trading community?
There are many benefits to joining a trading community but the greatest benefit is the support it can provide you depending on the community you join. Even experienced Traders have questions that a community can answer or give their guidance on quickly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Communities also give insight to traders what the general consensus is on a specific market.
Members of communities are constantly sharing their trading strategies and techniques also which could be a useful source of ideas for yourself or even to combine with your own trading style. What are the Risks when joining a trading community?
Like anything online, there is the risk of trusting a ‘faceless’ person but the greatest risk is being influenced by an unreliable source of information or an individual with intentions to scam you. The risks are minimized greatly if you are fully aware of these potential scammers who’s only intention is to sell you a scam for their financial gain. Its also important to recognise that the community members may not have the credentials or experience to be giving the best guidance however many are so its important to respect that everyone will have an opinion but it’s your decision which one you believe is the right opinion for you.
